We are looking for Team Leaders who are caring and compassionate individuals with the desire to make a positive difference to the lives of our incredible children and young people through leading by example to other children's and young people's support workers.
Essential Information
- Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
- Planning team rotas to support the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments
- Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in implementing all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
- Carry out all other reasonable tasks directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager
- Supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
- Welcome a diverse culture in the home
- Creating a safe, family environment for the children
Requirements
- You must be at least 21 years old
- Driving is essential due to locations of the homes
- You must have at least six months experience in Children's residential care and hold a relevant Level 3 qualification
- Flexible, reliable, adaptable; able to read situations to help young people make positive choices while proactively supporting colleagues through leading by example
- Calm in situations, offering advice, a good listening ear, and the ability to show unconditional positive regard
Compensation & Benefits
- £2800 to £3600 sleep in payments (based on 8-10 sleep ins per month)
- 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years
- Shifts include long hours and sleep ins (essential) and vary with home location
- Refer a friend payment scheme
- Enrolled on a workplace pension scheme after three months of employment

- Overtime paid at 1.25×
- Fully paid 10‑day induction course
