Role Overview
Position: CSE/Complex Care – Clinical Team Lead
Salary/Benefits: Up to £50,000 depending on experience.
Hours: 40 hours (Monday to Friday)
Location: Yorkshire region (East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire & West Humberside) – primary base Yorkshire and West Humberside region.
The team includes one full‑time and three part‑time Mental Health Practitioners who will work alongside the lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement service delivery by coordinating assessments and interventions.
- Provide guidance, feedback on assessments and clinical recommendations.
- Support multi‑agency risk assessments in relation to CSE.
- Offer consultation, advice and guidance to operational and educational colleagues.
- Maintain a small caseload of direct work with young people.
- Develop and deliver training packages and bespoke workshops for teams.
- Collaborate closely with the regional manager and regional lead for education.
- Oversee and provide clinical governance to CSE/CC services across the region.
- Provide remote support, clinical supervision and guidance as service needs arise.
- Lead projects and initiatives that enhance service quality.
- Ensure routine clinical reporting and outcome measurement.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive knowledge of CSE/CC and multi‑agency safeguarding.
- Clinical practice experience with children in residential care highly desirable; experience with systemic work with adolescents also considered.
- Leadership experience with ability to lead by example and maintain a warm, nurturing stance.
- Experience working with traumatised individuals, families, and systems.
- Registered with a relevant professional body (HCPC, NMC, SWE, BABCP).
- Relevant qualifications to offer assessments and interventions.
- Strong team‑player skills with excellent communication, organisational and time‑management abilities.
- Compassionate, caring, and able to engage with young people.
