Role Overview

Position: CSE/Complex Care – Clinical Team Lead

Salary/Benefits: Up to £50,000 depending on experience.

Hours: 40 hours (Monday to Friday)

Location: Yorkshire region (East Yorkshire, West Yorkshire & West Humberside) – primary base Yorkshire and West Humberside region.

The team includes one full‑time and three part‑time Mental Health Practitioners who will work alongside the lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement service delivery by coordinating assessments and interventions.
  • Provide guidance, feedback on assessments and clinical recommendations.
  • Support multi‑agency risk assessments in relation to CSE.
  • Offer consultation, advice and guidance to operational and educational colleagues.
  • Maintain a small caseload of direct work with young people.
  • Develop and deliver training packages and bespoke workshops for teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the regional manager and regional lead for education.
  • Oversee and provide clinical governance to CSE/CC services across the region.
  • Provide remote support, clinical supervision and guidance as service needs arise.
  • Lead projects and initiatives that enhance service quality.
  • Ensure routine clinical reporting and outcome measurement.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive knowledge of CSE/CC and multi‑agency safeguarding.
  • Clinical practice experience with children in residential care highly desirable; experience with systemic work with adolescents also considered.
  • Leadership experience with ability to lead by example and maintain a warm, nurturing stance.
  • Experience working with traumatised individuals, families, and systems.
  • Registered with a relevant professional body (HCPC, NMC, SWE, BABCP).
  • Relevant qualifications to offer assessments and interventions.
  • Strong team‑player skills with excellent communication, organisational and time‑management abilities.
  • Compassionate, caring, and able to engage with young people.
