Job Responsibilities:
- Providing emotional support during challenging times.

- Encouraging community engagement, attending off‑site activities, and expanding their personal social networks.
- Meeting the needs of children and young people, organising social activities and maintaining the home (laundry, cooking, cleaning, shopping etc.).
- New staff must be comfortable using an electronic care recording system on a daily basis to document, monitor, and update children and young people’s records accurately. Experience with Clearcare is an advantage, but not essential, as full training will be provided. However, all staff are expected to confidently use digital systems as part of their day‑to‑day role.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
- Full UK driving licence preferable but not essential.
- No prior experience necessary, only a commitment and passion for working with young people.
- Must have availability for sleep‑in shifts (£30 per sleep in - on a full‑time basis this could be an additional £3600 per year based on 10 sleep ins per month).
- A full two weeks of paid training before starting the role.
- Overtime rate of x1.25.
- NVQ Level 4 in children and young people’s workforce.
- Our Shift Patterns: 2-3 shifts per week on a full‑time basis - sleep ins are mandatory. £30 additional payment per sleep‑in shift.
