What You’ll Do
- Support young people with their daily routines; getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities.
- Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
- Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
- Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects.
- Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where You’ll Do It
Our home is a solo Home within Cambian Group and is committed to providing the best possible care. The team continues to guide and support young people to develop the skills to keep themselves safe and develop awareness and understanding for others' safety. Our staff promotes and encourages supporting young people to develop the skills to be law-abiding citizens, enabling their social inclusion. Staff support and develop young people’s knowledge and skills so that they gain the insight to live healthy lifestyles. Staff members continue to be role models for our young people.
Our current young person is very unique, enjoys anime & gaming, is transgender and is thriving in becoming who she wants to be. She can be very challenging but with the support from staff is funny, empathetic and caring. Our young person will have staff laughing every day and will ensure she beats you on Roblox every time.
Our home has a long-standing staff team with over 40 years’ experience between them. The staff ensure that all help and support is given to any new staff members and any staff that come into the home to help request to stay. They are protective and caring of all our young people.
