Oakwood/Haywood House are supported living community services in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. We support adults with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorders to transition from mental health hospitals into a community setting. We are now recruiting for Team Leaders on a full-time basis. Our Team Leaders are essential for creating a strong foundation for us to develop a professional, safe and comfortable environment, delivering the highest quality, person centred care.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills along with the ability to provide direct, individual care and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will act as a key member of the team, supporting each individual in achievement of their planned outcomes. You will have the confidence to successfully lead others and demonstrate a positive and motivating attitude at all times. You should have the ability to deal with difficult/crisis situations with a high level of professionalism and, in return, you will be valued and encouraged to develop your skills further through our commitment to training and support.
