Our home is a 5‑bedded home that looks after young people with behavioural difficulties, situated on the grounds of a school. We also have another 5‑bed home. The homes are furnished to a very high standard, and the staff team is diverse. We currently have 4 young people in the home, 3 boys (14, 14 & 12) and 1 girl (14 years). Each has a different background and the young people are very settled within the home. The team works on a schedule of one day at work and two days off. They work as three teams of four, alternating sleeps with the teams. Staff cover each other for annual leave and sickness. We hold weekly meetings with the young people to organise activities and meals according to their needs and the team schedules.
