Rate: £13.03 per hour

Maternity Cover - 6 months | Full-time | 35 hours per week (rota-based)

We are recruiting Support Workers to join our service in Dugdale, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

About the Service - Dugdale House

  • Rated Good by CQC
  • Registered for 8 service users with Learning Disabilities
  • Service Users enjoy going to the local day centre, shops, and coffee shops
  • Dugdale House is a beautiful Victorian building with a large garden used for barbeques, in-house events, and picnics
  • Service users enjoy many in-house activities as well as visiting local day centres

The Role You will:

  • Support daily living, personal care, and meal preparation
  • Provide one-to-one, tailored support
  • Encourage independence, life skills, and social inclusion
  • Support emotional wellbeing and positive outcomes
  • Work as part of a professional, dedicated team

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable. No previous experience? No problem! If you have the passion, we’ll provide full training and a structured induction programme.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work towards Level 2 QCF (Social Care Wales registration)
  • Ability to work unsociable hours on a rota basis
  • Drivers desirable but not essential
  • Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech)
