Children’s Residential - Complex Trauma Services

We are the Cambian group, one of the largest independent providers of care and education for children and young people. We are looking for Team Leaders who are caring and compassionate individuals with the desire to make a positive difference to the lives of our incredible children and young people through leading by example to other children's and young person's support workers.

Essential Information

  • 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years
  • Working on a rota basis – you will receive a monthly rota
  • This is a 365 day a year job, including Christmas, New Year and all the fun holidays but it is even more fun when you celebrate with the children!
  • The shifts consist of long hours and sleep‑ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in

Job Role Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations
  • Planning team rotas to support the Deputy and Home Manager in various meetings and appointments
  • Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose
  • To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager
  • To supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager
  • Welcome a diverse culture in the home
  • Creating a safe, family environment for the children

Qualifications

  • You must be 21 years old due to Ofsted regulations
  • Driving is essential due to the locations of the homes
  • You must have at least six months’ experience in Children’s residential care and hold a relevant Level 3 qualification
