Grateley House School is a specialist day school for children and young people aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of autism and other associated needs. We are seeking a dynamic, committed, and innovative Primary Teacher. The school delivers the National Curriculum and students are supported to access a range of subjects by experienced subject teachers and teaching assistants, with input from a therapy team. The successful candidate will ensure that our students engage in learning and are equipped with all the tools they need to progress.

The Role: We are seeking a committed, creative, and reflective teacher to join our dedicated team. You will play a key role in establishing our new Key Stage 2 provision, delivering engaging and adaptable lessons that build confidence, curiosity, and success in learners with additional needs. Working alongside experienced teaching assistants and our in-house therapy team, you will ensure every student has the tools, confidence, and support to thrive—both academically and personally.

  • Deliver high-quality teaching within our Key Stage 2 provision.
  • Support students to access the National Curriculum at an appropriate level.
  • Adapt teaching to meet individual EHCP outcomes.
  • Motivate and engage learners through inclusive, creative practice.
