Grateley House School is a specialist day school for children and young people aged 11-19 with a diagnosis of autism and other associated needs. We are seeking a dynamic, committed, and innovative teacher. The school delivers the National Curriculum and students are supported to access a range of subjects by experienced subject teachers and teaching assistants, with input from a therapy team. The successful candidate will ensure that our students engage in learning and are equipped with all the tools they need to progress.
The role:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, up to GCSE level
- Support students to access the National Curriculum at their level
- Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual EHCP outcomes
- Motivate and engage learners through creative and inclusive practice
- Provide meaningful feedback to support progress and build confidence
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities
- Work collaboratively within a supportive, skilled and forward-thinking team

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
