About the School: Darwin School is an independent school in the county of Shropshire, we provide education for students aged 8 to 18. We currently have capacity for up to 20 students. Pupils are in long-term placements which are usually a duration of around 12-18 months and they all reside in one of our local specialist care homes. Teaching groups are currently a maximum of 4 pupils and staff have extensive knowledge of SEND. What are we looking for? The Executive Headteacher is seeking to appoint an aspiring Instructor to join this thriving specialist CSE School. Reporting to the Executive Headteacher, they will be responsible for the delivery of engaging and challenging lessons, ensuring that the department and the school are successful in achieving its aims. Person Specification: Understanding of teaching, learning and qualifications. Experience of working in non-mainstream settings with challenging learners.
