About the Cambian Group

We are one of the largest providers of specialist education and behavioural health services for children in the UK. Cambian Brook View School offers education, care and clinical support for children & young people aged 8 to 18 years on a full‑time residential basis across the UK.

Employment Opportunity: Brook View School

The new Brook View School is expanding and ready to open a new home. We need a staff member to help build the environment and support children & young people aged 8‑18 with a range of autistic spectrum and complex needs.

Salary & Hours

Salary: £28,080 – £29,536 DOE. Hourly rate: £13.50 (unqualified) / £14.20 (qualified). Full‑time staff work 40 hours a week on a rota basis, covering a mixture of earlies & lates (with Sleep Ins).

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a vital member of the dedicated team, helping children & young people learn and develop skills for life.
  • Assist staff in setting up and maintaining the new home’s ethos and culture.
  • Participate in ongoing training programmes and mentoring to develop professional skills.
  • Support residents through daily care, education and clinical activities on a full‑time residential basis.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Passion for helping children and young people reach their potential.
  • No specific qualifications required; training will be fully funded.
  • Subject to DBS and reference checks in line with government regulations and safeguarding best practice.
