This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and skilled accountant to join a growing accountancy practice in a very rewarding position for the right candidate in Cornwall. My client is very passionate about doing the best they can for every client by going above and beyond. There is room for progression and the ability to make lifelong friends due to the reasonable sized team in the company. You will be a valued member of staff, rather than a number on a system.
Some areas of duties and responsibilities for this role include:
- Reviewing colleagues' work
- Upskill and support junior colleagues
- Bookkeeping
- Client management
- VAT returns
- Supporting clients
You can either choose 9 till 5 pm or 8:30 till 4:30 pm. Office based with hybrid working available. Ongoing training and personal development.
Salary range: £40,000 - £50,000. The usual benefits include pension, holiday (35 days), healthcare, life assurance and many others!
You will need:
- Previous experience working in practice
- Great communication skills
- Appropriate qualifications
- Sufficient interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills
- Experience in using Microsoft Office
