The role…

As a Finance Manager, you will take the lead in managing the financial health of the company. You will be responsible for producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met
  • Manage the preparation of the company’s budget
  • Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to the company's directors to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Assess the financial performance of the company in view of its goals and objectives

The requirements from you

  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager within the construction industry
  • Strong understanding of business and financial management principles
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
