We are looking for a diligent and organised full time - 40 hours per week -Stockroom Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the stock room is well-maintained, and supporting overall operations. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our stock management processes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
    • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock and supplies.
    • Organize and store items in designated locations within the stock room.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
    • Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Stock Room Maintenance:
    • Keep the stock room clean, organized, and safe.
    • Label items clearly and systematically.
    • Ensure stock is rotated properly to avoid expired or obsolete items.
  • Support Operations:
    • Assist with stock-taking activities and inventory reconciliations.
    • Collaborate with other departments to meet their stock requirements.
    • Help identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Good physical condition, capable of lifting and moving heavy items.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills, showing initiative to reach store targets.
    • Maintaining excellent visual standards, replenishment and housekeeping needs.
