About the role: Our stores are the life and soul of our business. They act as our main touch points with our evolving consumer base. Our stores set the tone of what our two brands are about; the first class experience must be a given and in-store standards should never be questioned. The Supervisor leads by example, embraces our entrepreneurial spirit and inspires their teams through passion and belief in our brands.
Responsibilities Include
- Be responsible for Visual Merchandising of the store โ mannequin styling, window vinyls, sale or promotional set ups, product training and standards; implement weekly model store guidelines and report to Area VM.
- Ensure the efficient running of the shop floor to achieve the highest levels of customer service, sales and profit.
- Support the management team in managing all personnel, product & merchandising functions, business processes and results for the store.
- Participate in weekly management meetings and other staff meetings.
- Communicate to staff all marketing and sales promotions clearly.
- Drive shop floor sales and exceed store targets by motivating the team to achieve goals while providing customers with an exemplary store journey.
- Foster a positive store experience by treating all customers and colleagues fairly and consistently.
- Support the team in delivering the business strategy and ensure consistent training on product knowledge and store maintenance.
- Achieve company standards for personal sales results: sales vs budgets, sales per hour and units per transaction.
- Perform manager-on-duty functions, manage store opening/closing and the sales floor.
- Focus staff on building relationships with internal and external customers.
- Ensure staff accountability for building a repeat customer base by delivering outstanding service.
- Ensure floor and back room merchandising practices are executed and reviewed for consistency.
- Work with the management team to build a talent pool for key positions, including possible successors.
About You
- You\โll have a previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
- You\โll have previous people management experience with the ability to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements.
- You\โll be an effective communicator with the ability to build relationships easily.
- You\โll be a team player who recognises and celebrates the contributions and achievements of others.
- You\โll be confident in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
- You will work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work with pace.
- You will be energetic and authentic showing a clear presence on the shop floor.
- You\โll approach all issues with a can-do attitude and act with initiative to find in-store solutions.
