About the role
Reporting to the Home Manager at Calvary Trugo Place, located in Newport, we currently have an opportunity for Registered Nurses to join our team. This is for covering parental leave and is for a fixed term of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.
- Ensure compliance throughout the home with Aged Care Quality Standards, legislative/statutory requirements and regulations.
- Able to multitask, prioritise, delegate and manage the delegation process to ensure appropriate quality outcomes within expected or non-negotiable timeframes.
What you bring
- An active AHPRA registration and qualifications as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience working as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care is preferred.
- Experience with ACFI and accreditation requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
