We are seeking an experienced Senior Science Technician to join our dynamic Science Department. The successful candidate will lead on practical preparation, maintain equipment, support teaching staff and help ensure the smooth running of the Science technician department. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent organisation skills and a passion for Science Education.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on practical preparation for science lessons
- Maintain equipment and stock for the Science department
- Support teaching staff and help ensure the smooth running of the Science technician department
Contract details:
- Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (including INSET days)
- Start time between 8:00 and 8:15
- Finish time between 16:00 and 16:30
- Salary: £24,371 per annum (FTE £27,780 per annum), Grade D1
- Start date: September 2026
