What you’ll be doing: The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and repairing failed units that have been returned from Customer systems. Your role will include testing and configuring replacement and/or loan units; being responsible for Quality Assurance, both functionally and cosmetically, and accurate completion of records. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level or take on a new challenge.
The right individual should be a great team player and possess strong technical skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.
This is your ideal role if you have:
- Experience of surface mount and through-hole technology re-work to high standard along with the ability to fault-find and troubleshoot
- Understanding of schematics and technical drawings
- Methodical approach with track record of attention to detail, resilience and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines whilst coping with changing priorities
- Knowledge and experience in Quality Control
- Expertise in technical report writing
