Master Data Administrator
The Point, Warwick
12-Month Secondment | Full-Time | Hybrid
Looking for your next development opportunity?
We're looking for a detail-oriented and motivated colleague to join our Business Evolution team as a Master Data Administrator on a 12-month secondment.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to how critical business data flows across Calor's systems and supports key operational processes. You'll develop valuable experience working with master data, business systems, and cross-functional stakeholders while building your understanding of the controls and processes that keep our operations running effectively.
Whether you're looking to broaden your experience, develop new technical skills, or gain greater exposure to different areas of the business, this role offers a fantastic platform for growth.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Master Data Administrator, you'll support the creation, maintenance, and governance of Non-Customer Master Data, ensuring information is accurate, compliant, and available when the business needs it.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating master data across key business systems.
- Processing approved data creation, amendment, and deletion requests.
- Supporting data quality activities, including validations and data cleansing.
- Working with stakeholders across the business to resolve data issues and improve processes.
- Ensuring service levels, controls, and governance requirements are consistently met.
- Supporting change initiatives that impact master data and business systems.
- Identifying and escalating data quality risks and improvement opportunities.
What We're Looking For
You don't need extensive specialist systems knowledge to be successful in this role. We're interested in colleagues who are curious, organised, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A careful and methodical approach when working with data.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with business data or systems.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a wider team.
Desirable Experience
While not essential, the following would be advantageous:
- Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience using SAP ERP or similar business systems.
Why Apply?
This secondment provides an excellent opportunity to:
- Develop your understanding of data governance and business processes.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions.
- Learn new systems and technologies.
- Strengthen transferable skills including data management, problem-solving, and process improvement.
- Enhance your profile and broaden your career opportunities within Calor.
If you're someone who enjoys working with data, spotting details others might miss, and wants to expand your knowledge of how the business operates, we'd love to hear from you.
