About the Role
Head of Supply Chain & Planning , you'll lead the end-to-end planning and supply chain agenda for Great Britain, ensuring we deliver safely, efficiently and reliably for our customers while supporting our strategic ambitions for growth and transformation.
Reporting as a key member of the Operations Leadership Team, you'll bring together commercial demand, operational capability, supply planning and financial objectives to create a single integrated plan that optimises customer service, security of supply, asset utilisation and business performance.
This role offers significant visibility across the organisation, with the opportunity to influence Executive decision-making, shape future supply chain strategy and lead a talented team through the next phase of operational excellence and transformation.
Key Skills & Requirements
You'll lead the teams and processes that ensure Calor has the right product, in the right place, at the right time, while balancing service, cost, safety and working capital.
Key areas of responsibility include
- Leading and evolving Calor's integrated Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Developing and delivering the national supply and operational plan across our network.
- Owning inventory and asset planning strategies for LPG, cylinders and tanks.
- Ensuring security of supply through effective gas supply planning and supplier relationships.
- Driving network optimisation, operational resilience and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Using data, technology and insight to improve forecasting, planning accuracy and decision-making.
- Developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and safety.
About You
We're looking for an experienced leader who can think strategically while remaining connected to operational delivery.
You may already be working in supply chain, planning, logistics, operations, commercial planning or a related leadership role and have:
- Experience leading complex planning, supply chain or operational functions.
- A track record of bringing teams together to solve business challenges and drive performance.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness.
- The ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead through change.
- Experience using data and insight to support decision-making.
- A passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
- A commitment to safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
