We're looking for a proactive and passionate colleague to join our team as a Sustainability Advisor, supporting the delivery of Calor's Advance Sustainability strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you can influence real change - helping reduce our carbon footprint, improve recycling and waste practices, and engage colleagues and communities across the business.
Working closely with the Sustainability Manager, you'll play a key role in embedding sustainability into our day-to-day operations, while developing your expertise in carbon reporting and sustainability frameworks.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting the delivery of Calor's sustainability strategy across the business
- Taking ownership of carbon reporting and becoming our in-house expert on Gravity
- Analysing sustainability data to identify trends and opportunities to reduce emissions
- Ensuring accurate and aligned reporting across KPIs, Wave and other frameworks
- Collaborating with teams across Calor, including Procurement and site teams, to improve recycling and waste performance
- Supporting sustainability communications, including contributions to reports and internal campaigns
- Acting as a key contact for colleague engagement initiatives such as Start from the Heart and charity partnerships
- Working with the wider SHV Sustainability network to improve systems and reporting
A strong interest in sustainability and a desire to build your career in this space.
Requirements:
- Graduate-level education (or equivalent experience)
- Confidence working with data and drawing insights (Excel skills essential)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
- A collaborative approach and ability to build relationships across the business
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to take ownership and drive improvements
Desirable:
- Relevant sustainability qualifications or experience
