Regional role – Candidates must live within 90 minutes of Stoney Stanton COC. Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days a week on the main site and/or other Calor Sites in the region.
About the role
As part of our continued focus on safety, performance and leadership capability, we are creating an internal opportunity for a Senior HR & Change Business Partner to play a critical role in shaping and delivering the people agenda across two of our operational regions in Central, South West and Wales. This role is central to how we support our Regional Leadership Teams to deliver performance, strengthen engagement and build long‑term capability. You will work in close partnership with the Regional teams as a trusted advisor, coach and change leader, ensuring people and change priorities are firmly aligned to business goals. Alongside your regional responsibilities, you will be a key contributor to the People Leadership Team, helping to shape company‑wide HR strategy. This opportunity offers significant exposure, influence and development for an experienced HR/Change leader ready to operate at the next level.
What you’ll be responsible for
- Partner with the Regional Senior Leadership Team to shape and deliver the regional people and change agenda.
- Act as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, talent, succession, organisational design and complex employee relations.
- Lead, coach and develop a regional HR team, setting clear direction, priorities and high standards.
- Drive engagement, inclusion, performance and capability outcomes across the region.
- Lead and embed regional change and transformation initiatives, ensuring strong leadership ownership and sustainable outcomes.
- Provide regional insight and input into company-wide reward, talent, learning and resourcing strategies.
- Coaching and mentoring of the Regional HR Manager and Advisor.
- Take ownership of a company-wide HR lead topic (e.g. change, culture & engagement, DE&I, HR policy or occupational health), shaping approach, governance and delivery.
- Champion Visible Felt Leadership and a strong safety culture across the region.
About you
This role is suited to an experienced HR/Change leader who is ready to broaden their impact, deepen their strategic influence and operate confidently at senior leadership level. You’ll bring:
- Strong experience in an HR Business Partner, Change or Senior HR leadership role.
- Credibility working with senior leaders in a complex, operational environment.
- Experience leading and developing HR teams, ideally across multiple sites or geographies.
- Sound understanding of UK employment law, organisational development and HR best practice.
- Confidence to influence, challenge and support leaders through change.
- A pragmatic, delivery‑focused approach with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- A desire to take ownership, lead topics at company level and build broader organisational impact.
