Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose breakdowns, repair equipment, and implement preventative measures.
- Perform planned maintenance, inspection, and testing to required standards.
- Keep the Computerised Maintenance Management System (PEMAC) updated.
- Install new electrical equipment in compliance with current legislation and company specifications.
- Create and review electrical work instructions, risk assessments, and technical drawings.
- Carry out plant and equipment modifications within company specifications.
- Report hazards and equipment defects promptly.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
- Experience in production maintenance environments, preferably on hazardous area / COMAH sites.
- COMPEX qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- Applicable and demonstrable apprenticeship qualification.
- IOSH or other H&S qualification (or willingness to work towards).
- City & Guilds Electrical Qualification.
- IEE regulations 17th/18th edition.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Detailed understanding of current electrical legislation/electricity at work regulations.
- Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous).
- Knowledge of PLC systems (advantageous).
