Our Calor Production team is on the lookout for an engaging and proactive Filling Supervisor to lead the team in meeting shift production targets on the Cylinder filling lines, ensuring adherence to Calor's quality specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety as the top priority, reporting hazards and taking immediate action to eliminate risks.
- Support the team in achieving daily production targets set by the Shift Lead.
- Ensure all filled cylinders meet safety and quality specifications.
- Develop a competent filling plant team through focused training and competency sign-offs.
- Take ownership of the safety, production, and quality performance of the team.
- Drive continuous improvement in production efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to site rules, PPE requirements, work instructions, and Calor instructions.
- Train and integrate new team members while providing ongoing training to existing members.
- Handle problems as they arise during the shift and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Prioritize safety as the number one priority, leading by example.
- Adopt a right-first-time approach and take ownership of the final product's quality to reduce rework.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and develop high-performing teams (desirable).
