The Customer Engineering team at Calor Gas is looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Gas Engineer to provide engineering services and emergency response to Calor customers in the area.
Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining Calor's bulk tanks and assets at customer sites.
- Travel (van and fuel provided) to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base.
- Participating in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours, requiring a flexible, positive, and adaptable approach. Additional rates of pay apply.
- Providing excellent customer care and dealing with customers.
- Follow procedures and instructions.
- Full industry specific training and support will be given to the right individual.
Qualifications
- ACS Gas Qualified.
- Experience dealing with customers and providing excellent customer care.
- Relevant gas engineering experience with an understanding of LPG and installation and maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health and Safety awareness.
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
- Full Manual UK driving licence is essential.
- Must be eligible to live and work in UK and hold a full driving licence that is valid for you to drive in the UK.
- You must also be medically fit to drive.
