Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a strong administrative background? We are looking for a Business Support Coordinator to join our team in Canvey Island. In this key role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support across purchasing, payroll, finance, budget control, and stock management, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the site. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is confident managing multiple tasks with a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage key support functions, ensuring efficiency across operations
- Maintain accurate financial records, track budget adherence, and highlight variances
- Support payroll and HR teams by ensuring accurate data collection and reporting
- Maintain stock records and support logistics coordination
- Work with local suppliers to ensure value for money and manage ongoing contracts
- Assist with purchase orders, invoice processing, and compliance documentation
- Identify opportunities to enhance administrative processes and site operations
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong administrative experience, ideally in a business support or operational role
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Office (Excel proficiency essential); SAP knowledge is desirable
- Financial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets and track spending
- Well-organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communicator, able to build relationships across teams and with external suppliers
- Problem-solving mindset, proactive in tackling challenges and improving processes
