What You\’ll Be Doing
- Maintain, repair, and modify Calor’s fleet of vehicles and trailers
- Perform diagnostics, fault analysis, and technical resolutions
- Ensure all work meets strict Health & Safety standards
- Operate tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain clear documentation and complete all records accurately
- Carry out high-standard engineering repairs independently and within a team
Shift Pattern
- Core hours: 6:00am – 3:00pm
- Late shift: One week in every 4
- On-call rota: Introduced after full Calor training is completed
What We’re Looking For
- City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent discipline)
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, trailers, plant, and workshop equipment
- Skilled in diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical & pneumatic faults
- Ability to multitask, work to deadlines, and follow H&S regulations
- Team player with good communication and organisational skills
- HGV C+E licence (Class 1) and ADR preferred but not essential
