What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide expert HR advice across a wide range of employee relation cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and capability – ensuring fair, consistent and legally sound outcomes.
- Own ER case work end‑to‑end, offering proactive support and coaching to managers and helping to build confidence and capability in handling sensitive people matters.
- Champion the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and development to exit, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive colleague experience.
- Coach and upskill managers to strengthen their people management skills, especially in ER capability and confident decision‑making.
- Partner with operational teams to build strong, trust‑based relationships and foster a culture of accountability, fairness, and open communication.
- Use ER data and insights to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement in policies, processes, and manager training.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies, applying a pragmatic and balanced approach that protects both the business and its people.

What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role with broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle.

- Confident using HR systems – we use Workday (HRIS), PageUp (ATS), Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
- A data‑driven and commercially minded approach to problem solving.
- The ability to balance operational delivery with strategic thinking.
- A full UK driving licence (essential) and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
- Experience in the logistics or distribution sector would be advantageous.
