Home based – ideally located in Ipswich. The Customer Engineering team at Calor Gas is looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Gas Engineer to provide engineering services and emergency response to Calor customers in the area. Calor Gas is the UK’s leading LPG supplier. We offer a range of off‑grid energy options for heating, cooking and other needs to homes and businesses, including sectors such as agriculture, transport and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining Calor’s bulk tanks and assets at customer sites.
- Travel (van and fuel provided) to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base.
- Participation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies outside normal working hours.
- Flexibility, positive attitude and adaptability are required. Additional rates of pay apply.
Qualifications
- ACS Gas Qualified.
- Experience in dealing with customers and providing excellent customer care.
- Relevant gas engineering experience and understanding of LPG and the installation and maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders is an advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including health and safety awareness.
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Full industry‑specific training and support will be given to the right individual.
