What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering and supporting our Process Safety Audit Programme
  • Leading hazard identification studies (e.g. HAZOP, SWIFT, PHR)
  • Providing coaching and guidance to site teams to drive safety awareness
  • Supporting compliance with COMAH regulations and Calor standards
  • Tracking safety performance through Process Safety Performance Indicators (PSPIs)
  • Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and driving improvements
  • Engaging with regulators, HSSE committees, and engineering colleagues
  • Contributing to the development of policies and safety systems

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • City & Guilds (minimum) or preferably HNC in Chemical, Mechanical or Production Engineering (or equivalent).
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Process Safety Management.
  • Practical knowledge of COMAH and hazard identification techniques (e.g. HAZOP, SWIFT, PHR).
  • Experience auditing safety systems.
  • Strong understanding of current health, safety and environmental legislation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload and priorities effectively.

Desirable:

  • NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Internal auditor qualification
  • Experience in the LPG or a similar regulated industry
