As the leading player in the UK LPG market, Calor offers varied and exciting employment opportunities. The Customer Engineering team at Calor Gas is looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Gas Engineer providing engineering services and emergency response to Calor customers in the area. We are ideally looking for a smart meter / gas meter installer who would like to retrain to service and maintain Calor gas tanks, pipework and equipment. Full training will be given.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Installing and maintaining Calor’s bulk tanks and assets at customer sites.
- Travel (van and fuel provided) in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base.
- Participation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours.
As such we would like you to have/be:
- ACS Gas Qualified.
- Experience in dealing with customers and providing excellent customer care.
- Any relevant gas engineering experience would be considered useful, and an understanding of LPG and the installation and maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders would be a distinct advantage.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health and Safety awareness.
- A Full Manual UK driving licence is essential.
