Are you ready to take on a rewarding HR role where no two days are the same? We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Regional HR Advisor to join our People Experience team on a 12āmonth maternity cover.
You will play a key role in supporting our sites across the West Midlands and beyond, providing professional HR advice, coaching managers, and partnering closely with leaders to deliver practical, peopleādriven solutions that make a real impact.
What You Will Be Doing- Provide expert, trusted HR advice across a wide range of employee relation cases including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and capability ā ensuring fair, consistent and legally sound outcomes.
- Own ER case work end to end, offering proactive support and coaching to managers and helping to build confidence and capability in handling sensitive people matters.
- Champion the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and development to exit, with a focus on creating a positive and inclusive colleague experience.
- Coaching and upskilling managers to strengthen their peopleāmanagement skills, with a particular focus on ER capability and confident decisionāmaking.
- Partner with operational teams to build strong, trustābased relationships and foster a culture of accountability, fairness, and open communication.
- Use ER data and insights to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement in policies, processes, and manager training.
- Ensure compliance with employment law and internal policies, applying a pragmatic and balanced approach that protects both the business and its people.
- Manage HR administration with precision and careāstrong organisation and recordākeeping are essential in a fastāpaced environment without a case management system.
- Contribute to wider HR initiatives, bringing fresh ideas, a strategic mindset, and a passion for improving the colleague experience.
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor role with broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of Employment Law and practical experience handling ER cases endātoāend.
- Excellent communication, relationshipābuilding, and influencing skills across all levels.
- Confidence using HR systems; we use Workday (HRIS), PageUp (ATS), Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
- A dataādriven and commercially minded approach to problem solving.
- The ability to balance operational delivery with strategic thinking.
- A full UK driving licence (essential) and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
- Experience in the logistics or distribution sector would be advantageous.
