About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Sales Professionals to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and maximising profitability across your designated area. You will work closely with key stakeholders to identify and convert sales opportunities, manage customer relationships, and implement commercial strategies that support overall business objectives. This is a self-motivated, autonomous role that requires strong commercial acumen and the ability to self-generate and follow up on leads. You will need to enjoy being on the road, travelling within your designated area to meet with sites and customers. There will also be regular opportunities to collaborate with the wider teams and enhance your skills through comprehensive training and a dedicated training buddy to set you up for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver growth and retention by setting objectives and achieving targets for CDCs within your area.
- Self-generate leads and follow up on growth opportunities in your region.
- Utilise CRM, margin management, and lead identification software to maximise commercial performance.
- Manage and improve CDC gross margin performance through targeted pricing and selectivity.
- Optimise and manage your CDC customer base, including renegotiations and ownership changes.
- Implement strategies to optimise revenue and margins, using pricing strategies and data-driven campaigns.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, promoting a strong safety culture within the cylinder network.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive commercial success.
Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge:
- Previous experience in sales or account management, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record in negotiation, selling, and customer management.
- Ability to analyse data, spot trends, and make informed decisions to improve business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) & Microsoft Office. (Systems are teachable)
- Must hold a valid UK driving license and be comfortable with regular travel to CDC sites.
