We are looking for new Trustees to strengthen and diversify our current Board as we grow. We are seeking candidates with experience and or expertise in Human Resources to join our existing Trustee Board.

By utilising the expertise of experienced and dedicated trustees, we can ensure that the organisation complies with legal and regulatory requirements and operates in an ethical and financially stable manner. You can help steer the charity's strategic direction, improve its visibility, and develop partnerships with other local organisations for the enhancement of the whole St Ishmaels Community. With additional financial, strategic, and governance support from trustees, FSEG can continue to build community cohesion and resilience.
What are we looking for? The ideal trustee should possess a background in HR, strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, as well as a passion for improving the community. We welcome people with a commitment to our aims and objectives, and the time and enthusiasm to put necessary effort into a worthwhile and exciting organisation.
What will you be doing? Ferryside Social Enterprise Group (FSEG) is a nonprofit organisation providing local Community spaces in its Community Hub and supporting local business in the small rural community of St Ishmael, in Carmarthenshire. Our organisation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) registered with the Charity Commission. FSEG is at an exciting and challenging time in its development as it strives to continue to build community cohesion and resilience. As a trustee with a background in Human Resources you would have responsibility for ensuring appropriate employment legislation and policies are in place and applied to, and by staff. In addition, you would also lead on ensuring centre volunteers are managed and properly supported.
