About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Before & After School Club Supervisor to join the CALMS team at Leyland Methodist Schools. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced childcare professional to help lead a vibrant wraparound care provision for children aged 4-11 years. Working alongside the Club Manager and school leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering engaging activities, supporting staff, and ensuring children receive high-quality care in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Position Details
- Hours: 21 hours 15 minutes per week
- Rate of Pay: £15.00 per hour
- Location: Leyland Methodist Schools
What You'll Be Doing
As Club Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and support a team of club assistants
- Plan and deliver creative, stimulating activities for children
- Ensure a safe, inclusive and caring environment
- Support children from a wide range of backgrounds and abilities
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and wellbeing
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers and school staff
- Assist with staff development, training and recruitment
- Support day-to-day administration and booking systems
- Promote positive behaviour and uphold club policies

What We're Looking For
We are seeking someone who:
- Has experience working with children aged 4-11
- Has previous experience in a childcare leadership or senior role
- Holds a relevant childcare qualification (NVQ Level 3, NNEB or equivalent)
- Has a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Is organised, proactive and able to lead by example
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Brings creativity, positivity and energy to their work
- A current Paediatric First Aid qualification and knowledge of OFSTED requirements would be advantageous.
