Join Our People Team. We’re looking for a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join our supportive and collaborative People team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and takes pride in delivering a high‑quality, professional HR service. You’ll play a key role in supporting the employee journey—from onboarding new starters to supporting managers and maintaining accurate HR records.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Employee Lifecycle Support
    • Preparing contracts, offer letters, and HR documentation
    • Supporting onboarding and ensuring new starters are set up for success
    • Processing employee changes and maintaining accurate records
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Supporting recruitment activity, including advert posting and interview coordination
    • Completing pre‑employment checks (e.g. references, right to work, DBS where applicable)
    • Ensuring all compliance checks are completed to a high standard
  • HR Systems & Data
    • Updating and maintaining HR systems
    • Producing reports such as absence, turnover, and vacancies
    • Ensuring all data is accurate, secure, and GDPR compliant
  • Employee Relations Support
    • Providing administrative support on HR matters such as disciplinary, grievance, and absence processes
    • Taking notes at meetings where required
    • Preparing letters and documentation
  • General HR Support
    • Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries
    • Supporting managers and employees with basic policy guidance
    • Assisting with audits, compliance checks, and HR projects

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant CIPD HR qualification
  • Experience working in HR or a People team
  • Knowledge of HR processes and employment practices
  • Experience in a care or regulated environment
  • Familiarity with HR systems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
