Callerton Academy is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Supervision Room Manager to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to play a key role in promoting positive behaviour and supporting students to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the supervision room provision, ensuring a calm, supportive and purposeful environment where students can reflect, learn and improve.
  • Provide consistent pastoral support, helping students develop self‑esteem, resilience and positive behaviours.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to plan and adapt support for students whose intervention is not yet improving behaviour.
  • Monitor and track behaviour using school data systems, identifying trends and supporting strategic decision‑making.
  • Contribute to behaviour policies and strategies that promote positive conduct in school and the local community.
  • Ensure a safe, secure and supportive environment in line with safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting.
  • Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively and support positive change.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to use ICT and data systems effectively.
