North Gosforth Academy and Callerton Academy are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic School Staff Instructor to support the development and delivery of our Combined Cadet Force (CCF). This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to two schools that are proud to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, enabling every student to succeed and equipping them with the skills needed to navigate the challenges of adult life. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and promoting the CCF across both schools, acting as the main point of contact for cadets. Working closely with the Contingent Commander, the post holder will provide logistical and organisational support for the unit, helping to plan and deliver an engaging training programme, as well as supporting exercises and residential camps throughout the year.
- Has experience in the Armed Forces or Cadet Forces, ideally having held SNCO, Warrant Officer or Officer rank.
- Has strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage compliance requirements.
- Can support the management of cadet records, training activity, attendance and qualifications through management information systems.
- Understands the importance of safety, security and safeguarding within a youth-focused environment.
