Catering Assistant – School Meals Team
We are currently looking for reliable and friendly people with a positive attitude to join our School Meals team as a Catering Assistant.
Responsibilities
- Wash catering equipment and undertake general kitchen cleaning.
- Assist the chef with food preparation and maintain hygiene standards within service deadlines.
- Assist with the tidiness and presentation of the service area.
- Serve food to children and provide a brief description of the meals available.
- Clean the dining room, set up dining‑room furniture and clear away equipment and materials.
- Perform regular stooping, bending, lifting and carrying as required.
Qualifications
- No experience necessary; full training will be provided.
- Reliability, friendly attitude and positive outlook.
