JOB OVERVIEW:
The Quality Assurance, Trainer will be responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining effective training programs across the Logo, Embroidery, and Custom departments. This Quality Assurance, Trainer ensures that new hires and current employees are trained to the highest standards, are signed off as competent, and consistently adhere to updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Trainer will also support team leaders through progressive skills training and assisting in production during peak periods.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver and manage training across Logo, Embroidery, and Custom manufacturing departments by assessing employee competency, maintaining accurate SOPs and training documentation, and updating the training matrix.
- Provide advanced development for team leaders, support operations during peak periods, and collaborate with department leaders to identify and improve training effectiveness.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Demonstrate strong expertise in manufacturing processes across Logo, Embroidery, and Custom production, with the ability to design and deliver tailored training programs.
- Skilled in maintaining SOPs, managing training matrices, and applying Lean methodologies to support continuous improvement.
- Excel in coaching, mentoring, and performance management, fostering a positive learning environment and team culture.
- Adept at resolving conflicts, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating across departments, with excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment required (preferably within Logo, Embroidery, or Custom manufacturing).
- Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring employees preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SOP creation and training documentation.
- Background in process improvement and employee development desirable.
