  • MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

To support the safe, accurate, and efficient movement, storage, picking, packing, receiving, and dispatch of products throughout the Distribution Centre.

The role is responsible for ensuring customer orders are processed correctly and delivered to the required quality and service standards, while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations.

  • PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Carry out warehouse activities across receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, dispatch and inventory processes in line with operational standards.
  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently and to the required quality and service standards.
  • Complete stock movements, inventory transactions and order processing activities using warehouse systems and RF equipment.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, labels and related paperwork in accordance with customer and operational requirements.
  • Support inventory accuracy through stock investigations, cycle count activities and timely reporting of discrepancies.
  • Receive, store and distribute materials correctly to maintain inventory control and operational efficiency.
  • Support returns, refusals and corrective action activities in line with operational procedures and customer requirements.
  • Communicate operational, inventory and safety issues promptly to Team Leaders and Supervisors.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, health & safety and compliance across all warehouse activities.
  • Support the training and onboarding of colleagues where required and contribute positively to team performance.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment and RF devices are used correctly and stored appropriately after use.
  • Work flexibly across warehouse functions and undertake reasonable additional duties in line with business needs

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Required
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Basic computer literacy and confidence using RF scanning devices.
  • Ability to perform basic system transactions and follow established warehouse processes.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to shared operational goals.
  • Able to carry out verbal and written instructions and perform basic numeracy tasks required for day-to-day operations.
  • Preferred
  • SAP warehouse system experience.
  • Experience working across multiple warehouse functions
