Senior Legal Counsel, Aviation & Airports Industry Experienced (Job role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE)

Our client is a market leader in Aviation Industry looking for a Senior Legal Counsel with an expertise in commercial contracts to join their legal department and to assist the Head of Legal to provide legal advice and support to all departments of the Company, its affiliates and subsidiaries on a wide variety of commercial, legal compliance and aviation related matters.

Who we are looking for:

• Manage a wide range of commercial matters (including cross border matters / International Assets), collaborating closely with both the legal team and the wider business functions.
• Responsible for developing and customizing contractual frameworks that align with the strategic objectives of the company, its affiliates, subsidiaries, helping to drive business success while effectively managing legal risks.
• Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with broad, generalist responsibilities, but with specialist legal subject skills in commercial law and compliance.
• Highly motivated, business minded lawyer who excels in tackling new challenges across multiple jurisdictions, can support internal business units and be the legal lead on wider projects.
• Fully qualified and registered lawyer of good standing admitted to practice under a common law jurisdiction.
• Must have a minimum of 8-10 years PQE and professional experience as in-house counsel and/or senior associate in a top tier law firm with international clients.
• Aviation Industry knowledge is a plus and Fluent English language skills.
