Role: Installation & Service Engineer Salary/Rate: £32000 – £42000/annum + overtime, van, uniform, pension Location: Living with convenient access to the M1, M5, and M40 corridors, to cover the West Midlands, the South West, Wales, and Manchester About Us: Call Systems Technology (CST) leads in wireless communication technology and critical alert software solutions. We provide paging systems, two-way radios, critical alarms, call button solutions and our Gen2 monitoring software to an impressive international client portfolio ranging from leading supermarkets, hotels & resorts and restaurants to global investment banks, entertainment venues and sports stadiums. Role Location: Location of client sites for this job will be primarily south of Birmingham, bounded by the M1, M40, and M5. Candidates must live within this broad geographical location, and may be asked to attend jobs outside of this area from time to time. About the Role: Installation and service of radio paging and radio speech & data equipment at UK customer sites Provide expert, impeccable installation, expert service, customer training and advice with the Companys products Travel overseas (voluntarily) on occasion to do installations for European and US clients Provide second-line customer support when Customer Service team need to escalate Support the pre-sale sales team with site surveys Support post-installation / commissioning documentation for CRM The right candidate MUST have: Excellent understanding and hands-on capability of installation of low voltage electrical systems Understanding of radio communication systems and IT networking ECS / CSCS Card Record of safe daily van use covering a wide-ranging UK geographic base Electrical/Electronics degree or NHD qualified, or equivalent experience Desired skills for this role: Access Control, Nurse & Disabled Alarm System, Wireless Paging Systems knowledge Experienced Install / Service engineer with similar products / technology (preferred) Strong PC skills including all Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent communication skills to build relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers Eye for detail, tidy cabling and aesthetics NOTE: This role is field based: our field engineers are happy driving up to several hours a day, in well-equipped medium-sized vans The role may include some early starts, late finishes, and the occasional need to stay away from home per logistics schedule; overtime and travel expenses are paid JBRP1_UKTJ
