Call On Me Ltd is a family business with a team of approximately 80–100 staff. We provide care and support to young adults and children on the Isle of Wight. The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead and support all aspects of HR within our organisation. This is a key role where you will work closely with management to ensure our people practices are fair, compliant, and aligned with our values.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and staff
- Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution, ensuring fairness and consistency
- Support and lead the performance management process, including appraisals and development planning
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law, sponsorship regulations, and relevant industry standards
- Review and update HR policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice
- Support recruitment and onboarding processes where required
- Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
- Identifying training needs and implementing targeted development programmes
Requirements
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or above)
- Proven track record in an HR management role
- Experience within healthcare or social care (highly desirable)
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience managing employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary cases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
