The Role
As a Service Manager, you will play a key role in leading your local branch, ensuring safe, effective and compassionate care delivery. You’ll oversee daily operations, support staff, maintain compliance and build strong relationships with clients, families and external partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Service leadership— managing day-to-day operations and ensuring high-quality care delivery
- Staff supervision— supporting, developing and mentoring care teams
- Compliance management— ensuring all regulatory, contractual and organisational standards are met
- Client relationship building— maintaining excellent communication with clients and families
- Scheduling oversight— ensuring rotas are efficient, fair and meet service needs
- Incident and risk management— responding to concerns and ensuring safe practice
- Partnership working— liaising with local authorities, health professionals and commissioning teams
What We’re Looking For
You will be a confident, organised and compassionate leader with a strong understanding of care operations.
- Minimum SVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a care management or senior supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of care regulations, compliance and quality standards
- Excellent communication and people-management skills
- Ability to work full-time in our Glasgow office.
