Contract Type: Full‑time (40 hours per week)

Salary: £29,120 per annum, 40p per mile + Additional payments for on‑call.

We are looking for an experienced carer in Midlothian to join our mid‑Lothian service. The role will be partially based in Midlothian, covering East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian. Candidates should have a track record of delivering high‑quality home‑care services and excel at communication, driving positive outcomes for staff and service users.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct client assessments and outcome‑based care planning and reviews.
  • Support and supervise individual staff and staff teams.
  • Liaise with other health and social care professionals.
  • Participate in the branch's out of hours on‑call system (enhanced payment).
  • Improve the quality of service to service users and staff.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Good geographical knowledge of East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian.
  • Experience in domiciliary care (essential).
  • Experience supervising and supporting teams and individuals.
  • Valid driving licence and own transport with business insurance.
  • SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to pursue the qualification.
