The Account Director will drive growth in a customers Central Government portfolio and shape the future of public service delivery. You will shape and close complex, high value deals by positioning tailored outcome based solutions to Central Government customers.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning & Prospecting: Create and execute effective plans to build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline. Consistently achieve set targets by driving strategic sales initiatives and managing high value and complex deals with Central Government customers.
  • Influencing & Negotiating: Build trust, inspire change and negotiate value-driven outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Building & Management: Build trust, credibility and alignment with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Value-Driven Commercial Excellence: Create tailored solutions that align customer outcomes with their value proposition.
  • Momentum & Deal Velocity: Build momentum to accelerate deal cycles and maintain prospect engagement.
  • Agility & Resilience In Sales: Adapt effectively to challenges, setbacks and shifting priorities.
  • Building Advocacy & Long-Term Partnerships: Turn satisfied customers into advocates, driving referrals and long-term relationships.

Experience selling complex high value solutions. An excellent communicator – experienced in presenting to customers. A skilled negotiator, able to influence. Experience of using Salesforce. Proactive, determined and dynamic. Full UK driving licence. Eligibility for SC Central Government sales/customer experience - highly desirable.
