We are seeking a Cook/Taco-Maker/BOH Staff to join our team! You will be working in a fun and fast-paced environment, making our award-winning tacos and burritos, and helping us maintain our brand and reputation for high quality food, with fresh ingredients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare food orders quickly and accurately, following our standard recipes
- Maintain a safe working environment by following proper food safety guidelines
- Complete kitchen tasks, including set-up, food prep, end-of-the-day cleanup and other side work
- Restock and prep items as needed throughout the shift
- Safely operate all kitchen equipment, and perform ongoing cleaning and maintenance
- Perform cost-control, portion control, food rotation and other kitchen operations designed to minimize waste
Requirements:
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 25-50lbs
- A positive, can-do attitude and a team-player with effective communication skills in the kitchen and with FOH staff
- ServSafe Food Handler certificate (or to be obtained 15 days upon hiring)
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not necessary. We will train the right individual.
Pay rate depends on experience. We offer employee discount and flexible schedule.
