The Role:

As the Sales Manager you will be selling bearings to the Industrial OEM market, dealing with industries such as Off-Highway Vehicles, Mobile OEM, Agricultural and Construction Vehicles, Pump manufacturers, Gearbox manufacturers, Steel, Machine Tool manufacturers etc. The role will entail about 60% managing large Key Accounts and 40% looking for new business, though it won't be cold calling. Covering the Midlands, though you will need to go further afield from time to time, with 2-3 days per week on the road and the remainder from home or the office depending on location.

The Ideal Person:

  • Ideally experience selling Bearings or other Power Transmission products into OEMs, end users or aftermarket
  • Need to be HUNTER and FARMER, able to manage the key accounts as well as growing new business
  • No qualification required, but you must have an engineering appreciation
  • Ideally experience working for a Bearings or Power Transmission manufacturer in the past
  • They will consider candidates from a distribution background, but would like someone a little more specialised than a standard rep or with a qualification
  • Even better if you have experience as an engineer in the past
  • Hard working, self motivated, driven
  • A full driving licence is essential
  • You must live in the Midlands, East or West, but it needs to be well located for the road network
  • You need the full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship, now or in future (no sponsorship available)
